Remember me?

Remember me?....I know, I know....it's been three weeks since my last post.  I just needed a little time to rejuvenate and soak up summer.  It's going by so fast - I can't believe my son will be starting 5th grade in less than two weeks...let the school shopping begin!

I have several things to share with you today.  First are several cards made using various challenges from the last couple of weeks (I'm so behind in posting them).

This first card incorporated Wplus9's Color Cue {6} Challenge with SCS card sketch challenge (SC290).
I think this color combo and sketch are both keepers!

And this next card was made using a Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge (WMSC7).  This was  nice  and simple - a sketch to keep on hand for making those last minutes cards.

And last, but not least - I wanted to share with you an Etsy item I've had my eye on forever!

Here's the Esty seller's description:  "A beautiful and girly, yet modern and urban wristlet that is perfect for a night out on the town or for the everyday grab and go bag. Made from super soft black Italian leather. The front is aligned with three flowers... two are walnut and the other is Tiffany blue. Removable wrist clip (you can also attach your keys to the clip)."
Don't you just love it?!  Okay, I really need to stop drooling over it, and finally break down and give this little beauty a home.

Well - that's it for me...I now get to start the laundry, pay the bills, and get the kids up and ready for our day.

Live well,
Trina

Cards & Etsy (my obsession)

Hello!  I have so much to share today.  I have lots of cards, and I decided to start sharing some of the items I find and purchase on Etsy.com.  I love that site, on it almost everyday.  I like seeing how creative people are, and I love that the majority of the items are handmade.  If you haven't been there yet, GO!  I've bought wall art, baby items, hair accessories, purses, and jewelry, and have never been disappointed with any of my purchases.  In fact, the products are usually so much better than what you see in the pictures....and once again, handmade by very creative and talented people, who really enjoy what they're doing.

Here's my latest purchase.....it's a brass filigree pocket watch necklace.  The pictures really doesn't do it justice...the back of the watch, is even more beautiful.  AND...the seller put so much effort in to the packaging, that I was so excited to open the "gift" - she made the whole experience delightful - check out her site here.

And now on to the cards...
Here's this week's Mojo Monday challenge (MOJO146).

I found this sketch to be quite a challenge this week.  I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't find my "mojo" on this one.

And here's a few more that I was able to get in before my little sleeping beauty woke up from her nap.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Ours will be packed with lots of fun.  Today's is my two year old daughter's first music class (for toddlers)....so excited, and then tomorrow, visiting with friends from WA states, and family from TX.....like I said, packed with lots of fun!

Live well,
Trina

The Nicholas Conor Institute for Pediatric Cancer Research (TNCI)

Hey everyone, we need your help.  Andrienne, an ex-colleague of mine, sent this to me today - all we're asking for is a vote.  Here's what Adrienne had to say;
"Listen up! Help me raise $20K or more for TNCI without you paying a cent.  I volunteer at The Nicholas Conor Institute for Pediatric Cancer Research (TNCI). TNCI is a non-profit, virtual institute dedicated to developing much-needed diagnostics and therapies for the childhood cancers, see https://thenicholasconorinstitute.org  for all the info and my article on ePharma Expo. Please take 30 seconds to help us by VOTING for Nicholas Conor Institute on CHASE Community Giving Facebook. Go to http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/261768860-nicholas-conor-institute-corporation?src=charity-details-wall-post-self&ref=mf . Why? CHASE has partnered with Facebook for its "CHASE Community Giving" campaign, which will allocate a total of $5 million to small, local not‐for‐profits voted on by Facebook members. The winner gets $250,000 in a grand‐prize announcement on July 12; four runners‐up get $50,000 each, and the top 200 receives $20,000 each. How can you help? Go directly to http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/261768860-nicholas-conor-institute-corporation.
Do it by eob tomorrow! We need to have A LOT more votes to get back into the top 200!, and YOU can help with just a couple clicks. It only takes a typical high school student 30 seconds to vote (I timed them)-You can do it too! Forward to your home address and tell all your friends. Voting ends 7/12. The Nicholas Conor Institute needs your support for development of innovative research for childhood cancers- un-met medical needs that need attention- Children are NOT small adults. Some of you may know Beth Anne Baber, the founder of TNCI, go to the website to meet her and learn about TNCI's exciting collaborations, high power Board of Directors and future plans. Tell all your friends and colleagues. You can also vote for other groups as well, you get 20 chances to vote. Don't be surprised if you get a personal message from me as well.  Thanks SO, SO MUCH!!!!  - Adrienne"
