Cards & Etsy (my obsession)

Hello!  I have so much to share today.  I have lots of cards, and I decided to start sharing some of the items I find and purchase on Etsy.com.  I love that site, on it almost everyday.  I like seeing how creative people are, and I love that the majority of the items are handmade.  If you haven't been there yet, GO!  I've bought wall art, baby items, hair accessories, purses, and jewelry, and have never been disappointed with any of my purchases.  In fact, the products are usually so much better than what you see in the pictures....and once again, handmade by very creative and talented people, who really enjoy what they're doing.

Here's my latest purchase.....it's a brass filigree pocket watch necklace.  The pictures really doesn't do it justice...the back of the watch, is even more beautiful.  AND...the seller put so much effort in to the packaging, that I was so excited to open the "gift" - she made the whole experience delightful - check out her site here.

And now on to the cards...
Here's this week's Mojo Monday challenge (MOJO146).

I found this sketch to be quite a challenge this week.  I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't find my "mojo" on this one.

And here's a few more that I was able to get in before my little sleeping beauty woke up from her nap.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Ours will be packed with lots of fun.  Today's is my two year old daughter's first music class (for toddlers)....so excited, and then tomorrow, visiting with friends from WA states, and family from TX.....like I said, packed with lots of fun!

Live well,
Trina

  1. Trina, you are so talented! I think my favorite card from this post is the cherry card - I love the buttons!

Etsy is insanely dangerous. I agree, what you get is so much better than the pictures. I've gotten a couple of pillowcase dresses for Emma through Etsy, and all of her hair bows. Oh, and a baby carrier for Jacob. I haven't yet treated myself to Etsy, but after hearing about your great finds, I think I just may have to!

Have fun this weekend visiting with the fam!
