Mojo Monday 128 - Mommy to Be

Happy Tuesday!  Well...I guess chicken noodle soup doesn't cure everything.  I went to work yesterday, and then was ordered by everyone around me, to go see a doctor, and do not come back until I'm better.  Good thing I went...I ended up spiking a fever in the waiting room, and then was told that I needed antibiotics, and to stay at home for a few days.  Because I've been sequestered to only two rooms in the house (the bedroom & my craft room), I can only do one of two things...sleep or craft...I choose craft.  I know, I know - I should really stay in bed, but it's just too boring.  I swear, after I post, I'll go straight back to bed.

I made this for my son's teacher, who has just announced to the class that she's having a baby.

And now here was my first attempt:

I guess with all the different types of antibiotics my doctor prescribed, my head is just not on right...from the start I couldn't get the measurements right, and had hit a mental wall.  I decided to scrap the sketch, and make a birthday card for my adorable little niece - not what I had in mind, but it works, and with both projects I was able to use some scraps...yippee!

Okay, as promised, I'm signing off, and going to back to bed.
