It all started with wanting to find a project I can do with my son...one that would teach him how to show kindness to others, as well as give him a better understanding of how fortunate he is. What I found was the "Make a Child Smile Foundation" (www.makeachildsmile.org). So...what initially started out as a little project of making homemade cards for kids, became a passion, a shopping addiction, as well as therapy for this busy working mother/wife/daughter- there was a whole new world out there, just waiting for me. So...if you all don't mind, I would like to use this platform to share what I create along the way.
So, without further ado...here are some pictures of cards I've made. As I get used to this format, I'll start to add the "recipe" for each card...enjoy!
This card I made for one of my nieces, for her 6th birthday. It was soooo quick and easy to make! Just a quick paper run through the Cuttlebug, a few punches, and voila!
And this one was made using stamps and buttons from Papertrey Ink...I love that company!!! I think that the "Life" stamps are my all-time favorite...they are so versatile, as is the rest of their collection.
That's it for now...until next time...
Stay well,
Trina
